Old, German, Baby Plate with Dutch Children - 1920’s

This vintage baby dish has two young Dutch boys strolling along the water with a typical Dutch scene; cottage, sailboat and windmill, all in the distance. It has pleasant colors on a pale yellow ground. On the back it is stamped with the Zell teacup mark of Baden, Germany with what appears to be G S which would be for Georg Schmider and it is embossed with the number 2598.

This child's feeding dish measures about7 ½" in diameter and about 1 ½" deep. It is in very nice condition with minor wear. There are a some teeny nicks along the top edge. I have included a close up of some in the pictures.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
