This vintage Purity Fruit Cake tin was probably done for Christmas with the holly and berries around the top and sides. On the lid is a little girl dressed in gingham and high button shoes holding a miniature of the tin. The Purity Cake Company was a Chicago company and I believe this tin is from the 1920's or early 30's. There are no markings on the bottom.
It is in nice condition with light wear. There are some light spots and minor scratches on the lid and some scratches on the sides, mostly just below the lid edge. On the bottom there is a little stain but no rust.
