This is a very pretty, vintage Holophane light shade made by the Heisey company. The glass is heavily ribbed horizontally on the outside and vertically on the inside. There is a band around the center that is not as heavily ribbed on the outside which gives an interesting appearance, especially when lit, as seen in the photos. The bottom edge is softly fluted with distinctive little "beads" along the bottom edge. It is just marked "Holophane" on the neck. It has a larger neck size and is NOT for a standard 2 ¼" a shade holder. This would be pretty on a single wall sconce.
The outside diameter of the neck measures almost 2 5/8" with a very narrow lip. It measures about 6 1/16" in diameter at the bottom and approximately 4" high and in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
