This brightly colored, vintage tin once held a Half Gross of Victor Hack Saws - Hand Blades. On the lid of the tin is the Victor logo which states Victor Hack Saws Win On Merit. "The accepted Standard of Industry" is written on the blade silhouette. They were made of Tungsten Steel by the Victor Saw Works, Inc. of New York. On the back of the tin are three charts listing the different types of blades and their preferred use. There is also a copyright date of 1937. Inside the hinged lid are suggestions for the proper use of the blades. There are original paper labels on both ends.
Overall it is in nice condition with a few scratches and dents on the lid. There is also edge wear, a few scratches and a long dent on the bottom. It measures about 10 5/8" by 2 5/16" by 5/8".
