Old, Child's Milk Cup with a Figural Handle

This is a cute vintage mug with a little girl making the handle. On the front is a couple that are possibly Bavarian with him wearing lederhosen. She's carrying milk pails and he has a large bowl on his shoulder. At the bottom it reads; Always Drink Milk and it is trimmed in pink. It is very colorful and all of the decoration is under glaze. On the bottom it is marked; Chase - Hand Decorated. I would assume it was made in Japan probably in the 1950's.

It measures about 3 ¾" high to the top of the little girls hat. The cup portion measures about 3 ½" high and 2 5/8" in diameter at the top excluding the handle. It is in very nice condition with minimal wear and the glaze has aged crazing. On the front edge there is a discolored spot. It is not a chip but appears to be a little glob that was fired onto the piece or perhaps where something was touching it when it was glazed, it is shown in the close-up photo.
