This pretty little saucer is in Heisey's pale yellow color known as Sahara in the Empress pattern. This pattern was also known as Pattern No. 1401 and was made by A.H. Heisey & Co. of Newark, Ohio in the 1930's. This also decorated with the floral design known as #448 Old Colony Plate Etching. In the center it is marked with the Diamond H trademark. Although it has a depression and would have probably been used with a punch cup, it is the perfect size for a little snack plate.
It measures about 5 13/16" square and is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
