This fun vintage leather cover is for holding a writing tablet. On the front it has a painted scene of an Indian by a campfire in front of a tepee by the water. It reads; Writing Case - Victoria, B.C. Canada. There is a loop on the side of the front cover and one on the back cover so that a pencil going through both of them keeps the "case" locked so to speak. Inside is the remnants of an old Tip Top tablet. Basically there are no pages left in the tablet so a new 5"x 8" tablet will have to added if this is to be used. It would be a fun piece in a den or office with western decor.
It measures about 5 ½" excluding the pencil holder, by 8 ¼" and is in very good condition with minimal wear except for the previously discussed tablet.
