Old Candy Container - German, St. Patrick's Day

This is a vintage candy container that appears to be either an Irishman or a Katzenjammer Kid, or maybe, an Irish Katzenjammer Kid. The little fellow is dressed in a green outfit with an orange collar, black bow tie and funny little hat. He has a silly grin and beady little eyes. There are no markings but I believe it was made in Germany in the early 1900's.

The paint is in fairly good condition but is somewhat soiled on the raised parts of his face. His black shoes seem a bit crude but not damaged. The cardboard sleeve insert shows wear and there is some paint chipped from the bottom edge of his jacket (see picture). It measures about 3 5/8" tall.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
