This small piece of restaurant china is a tea cup from the Joy Yuen Low restaurant. The Chinese restaurant was located in the Los Angeles Chinatown district. The outside of the cup has a pale, yellow luster band with a painted floral design. Inside the cup is the restaurant information and three Oriental characters which might be a wish of good luck or something similar. On the bottom is also a Chinese character which might be the maker of the china. I believe this is from the late 1930's or 1940's.
It measures about 3" in diameter and 2 1/8" high and is in good condition with minimal wear. There is a little roughness on the lip of the bottom edge.
