Fear in the Forest - De Leeuw - Vintage Book -

This old, children's book titled Fear in the Forest was written by the author of many books for young adults, Cateau De Leeuw. It's the story of a young orphan boy confronting his fears as he travels the trails through the Indian territory of Ohio in the late 1700's. It has 127 pages with simple illustrations by Leonard Vosburgh. It has a1960 copyright date by the author and was published by Thomas Nelson & Sons of New York. This is one of the many books offered by the Weekly Reader Children's Book Club. It has its original dust jacket.

It measures about 5 ¾" by 8 ½" by ½" and is in good condition. The inside pages are yellowed from age but crisp and clean with minimal wear and a tight spine. The hard cover has minimal edge and has been generally protected by the dust cover. The dust cover has light soiling, edge wear and a few tears but has protected the hardcover well. The inside back portion of the dust cover has been filled in by a previous owner.
