Old Kar-Lac MixServ Malt Glass - Standard Size

Old Kar-Lac MixServ Malt Glass - Standard Size -

This style of glass is what many malt shops used with their Hamilton Beach malt makers for making malts and shakes. They would mix the malt in this glass and serve from it as well.....hence the name MixServ. When looking through the top of the glass, the bottom reads; Kar-Lac - Pat. No. 1754560 MIXSERV Glass. It also has the Anchor-Hocking logo below it. The patent dates this to about 1930. It has fine ribs around the center section so it is easy to grip and the bottom has a lip which is how it is able to be used with some malt makers. This is the standard size which holds about 20 ounces. The last picture is a stock photo I have to show the comparison of the standard size next to the large size.

It measures about 6 7/8" tall and about 3 3/4" in diameter at the top tapering to 2 5/8" at the base. It is in fair condition with signs of use. On the inside of the glass, about ¾" from the inner bottom there is a scarred, frosted line. This was created by the blade of the malt mixer by someone's careless use. There is one small chip on the top edge and a couple of tiny chips on both the top and bottom edge. The condition has been considered in the price.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
