Old Ice Cream Cone Glass - Not a Parfait!
This vintage glass looks similar to a parfait glass but the glass is much thicker and the inside space is much smaller. This glass was used in old soda fountains to hold an ice cream cone. Some say the soda jerk filled a number of cones with ice cream and placed them in the glasses to serve all at once. Others remember that these glasses kept the drips of the ice cream from ruining their clothes. Regardless, it's a way to turn a simple ice cream cone into a fancy dessert. It take a standard waffle cone.
It stands about 6" high, about 2 ½" in diameter across the top and 2 5/8" in diameter across the bottom. It is in very nice condition with very little wear and no chips, cracks or other damage.
Total of four (4) available and combined shipping will be arranged if more than one glass is purchased.
