1920's South Bend Lathe Work Text Book
This is a vintage shop manual from the South Bend Lathe Works for First Year Lathe Work. This is Text Book No. 3 - How to Build an 8 inch Grinder. This was prepared for students in technical, vocational and industrial schools as well as for the apprentice in the work shop. The book covers the project from start to finish with detailed instruction and complimentary diagrams. It has This original soft cover edition has a 1920 copyright by O'Brien Bros., J.J. O'Brien and M.W. O'Brien.
It contain 63 pages, measures about 5 1/8" by 7 ½" and is in shop worn but is complete and in usable condition with edge wear. There is soiling from grimy hands, mostly on the cover and first couple of pages. The stapled spine is intact.
