Old Jum-Blo Bubble Machine Gun with Original Box

Old Jum-Blo Bubble Machine Gun with Original Box

This vintage toy gun is a tin bubble blowing machine made by Burroughs Enterprises, Inc. of New Jersey. The pistol has colorful lithographed graphic with children playing with the colored bubbles. When the crank on the right is turned, a blade in the front goes around taking up soap solution from the yellow plastic trough and wiping it past the slotted plastic shield. Air from the "barrel" of the gun would then shoot bubbles out from the soapy slots. On the butt of the grip is the company name along with Pat. App. For - Made in U.S.A.. It could be used as a handheld toy or set on a table.

It measures about 5 ½" in length, almost 4" high and about 3 5/8" across the trough. It is in very good, un-played with condition with minimal scratch wear. There is a little bit of rust on the metal plate behind the trough that can be seen in the photos. It comes with its original box.

The box has sharp graphics and states "Makes Elephant Size Bubbles". The top of the box has a cut out so this could be folded for an attractive display. It has not been folded so I am not showing it in the display fashion. The front flap of the box has the directions. The inside of the box still has its original liner and bottle of soap.

The box measures about 6¼" square by 4" high and is in very good condition with minimal wear. There are a few small tears to the inside liner. The bottle of soap is only partially filled and cloudy. The lid is tight but I think maybe there has been evaporation. The bottle will be sealed in plastic when shipped.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
