Old Frankoma - Mayan-Aztec Coffee Cups in Green Glaze
This small mug was made by the Frankoma Potteries of Oklahoma. It is the Mayan-Aztec pattern which was originally introduced in 1948. I believe this is their Prairie Green glaze over the red Sapulpa clay. On the bottom it is stamped FRANKOMA and the design number 7C which was called the 5oz.Cup.
They vary slightly in size, color of clay and the glaze is especially thick on some distorting the design somewhat.
They measure about 3 1/8" high and 3 1/8" in diameter excluding the handle. They are in good condition showing minimal wear.
Priced and sold as the set of four (4).
