Old Bookends - Swordfish from Philadelphia Manufacturing Co.

This is a striking pair of vintage bookends which have been called swordfish, sailfish or marlin. The fish are rising out of a formed wave as the base. They are made of a non magnet metal with a gold-tone or brass They both have their original felt bottoms and original paper labels that read; PM Craftsman - Hand Craftsmanship - The Mark of American Quality - Eaton Park, Florida and the PM logo.

They measure about 8 1/8" high and the base measures about 5 1/4" by 2 7/8". They are in very good condition with minimal wear. The label is torn on one.
