Old, Figural Indian Celluloid Letter Opener and Pencil

This colorful celluloid, American Indian is a vintage letter opener with a hidden pencil. The plumed headdress on his head is a pencil on the other end and slips into the hollow handle of the letter opener. He is in a seated position and is smoking a long pipe. It is nicely detailed and has good color and was probably made in Germany although I don't find any markings on it.

It measures about 7" long is in very nice condition with minor wear. The hollow celluloid blade has a few nicks on the tip. There is also a 3/4" split on the front of the blade about 1" from the bottom.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
