Old Cocomalt Advertising Sample Tin

Old Cocomalt Advertising Sample Tin

This colorful vintage tin is a sample of Cocomalt - a chocolate drink that was similar to cocoa. This is the type of item sent to housewives by mail in the 1930's, 40's and 50's. On the front is the logo with the word SAMPLE written on either side of the name. The back has directions for using and the top has a pry off lid.

It is empty and measures about 1 3/4" high by 2" in diameter. It is in nice condition with some wear. There are a couple of tiny flakes like the one on the front in the brown area and a larger area on the word Sample as shown in the pictures.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual size.
