Old Bolo Tie With Polished Rock from the 1950's - 60's
This simple bolo tie is from the 1950's and 60's period. The polished rock slide is a brownish pink with bluish gray mottling and some interesting matrix. I think the term agate would be appropriate. The braiding of either cotton or nylon is in off white with a thin gold thread running through it. It has its original brass colored ends.
It is in good condition with minimal wear. There is a tiny bit of discoloration where the ends attach. Doubled, it measures about 15 1/4" long.
