Old Frankoma Arrowhead Ashtray - Yellow Glaze
This little piece in the shape of an arrowhead was made by the Frankoma Potteries of Oklahoma. It is called the 463 Ashtray in their 1966 catalog but could also be used as a small nut dish. It is done in a yellow glaze over a light red Sapulpa clay. On the bottom in relief is the Frankoma name.
It measures about 4 1/8" long by 2 3/8" at the widest point and 1 1/8" high. It is in very good condition showing almost no wear.
