Old Flash Cards - Inventions & Wonders of the World

This vintage set of The Book of Knowledge Picture Study Cards - Inventions and Wonders of the World comes complete with its original box. There are 54 flash cards with pictures or illustrations on one side and facts about the topic on the reverse side. From radio and television to thermometer mercury and guided missiles it's like an encyclopedia on flash cards. Included are the directions for using the cards as a quiz game. They were manufactured by the Ed-U-Cards mfg. Corp. and the Grolier Society, Inc. with a 1960 copyright date. These would be great for tutoring or home schooling.

Each card measures about 3 1/2" by 5 9/16". They are all in very good condition with minimal wear. A few are age discolored. The box measures about 6 1/8" by7 3/8" by 1" and is in fairly good with some crease and edge wear and on the front there's an areas where the paper has been torn, probably from a price sticker.
