Old Celluloid Advertising Mirror for Underwriters Insurance of Omaha

This vintage, oval, celluloid backed pocket mirror is advertising The Nebraska Underwriters Insurance Co. of Omaha, Nebraska. They wrote policies for Fire, Lightning and Tornados on City and Farm Property. In the center of the cream background is a small but finely detailed picture of the company building on Farnam St. in Omaha. It was made by the Cruver Mfg. Co. of Chicago.

The celluloid is in nice condition with minimal scratches and fine dimples. The mirror side is not in very good condition. It is all black with the silvering being completely gone and there is a crack across it. The metal ring around the mirror has lost its plating and has a little rust. It measures about 2 11/16" by 1 15/16".
