Old Baby Plate with Dressed Chicken - Mother Hen
This colorful, vintage lusterware baby dish shows a mother hen wearing spectacles, a blue and white scarf and carrying a yellow umbrella. At her feet are three chicken eggs. The edge of the baby plate is blue lustre with lavender highlights. The back has no marks of origin.
Overall it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or other damage. The decal has almost no wear. The back does have a small rust stain. It measures about 7 1/2" in diameter and about 1 3/8" deep.
