Old Tugboat Planter - Great Fun for a Child's Room

Old Tugboat Planter - Great Fun for a Child's Room

This vintage planter is in the shape of a tugboat or perhaps other seafaring boat. It has no markings but with the classic wedges on the bottom and the colors used, I am quite sure that it was made by the American Bisque pottery company probably in the late 1950's or early 60's. It would be a fun piece in a baby's room filled with cotton balls if it wasn't used as a planter.

It measures about 9 ½" long, 3 7/8" wide and 5 ¼" high. It is in good condition with minimal wear and no damage. Some of the paint and edges are crude but this is in the manufacturing and not damage.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
