Old Marx Bazooka Bagatelle Marble Game with Original Box
This is an interesting vintage marble pinball game made by the Marx Company. The backboard of the game is tin with great military graphics of jeeps, tanks, and a host of guns in a clear plastic housing. Inside are 4 white marbles and 1 black marble. To the right is plunger for shooting the balls. Inside is the Made in United States of America Marx Toys logo. It has the two plastic pegs that can be used to tilt the top end of the game. It measures about 12 1/2" long, 6 3/8" wide and ¾" deep and is in fairly good condition with some scuff and scratch wear to the plastic.
It comes with the BAZOOKA Bagatelle box that has the same graphics on the back that the toy has. The box has the Louis Marx & co., Inc. address and logo and I believe it is from the 1950's. It measures about 13" by 6 7/8" by 1 ¼" and is in fair condition. The colors are still bright and presents well. The sides are creased and so is one end flap which is also torn along the fold. It has some edge wear, tears and stains and is missing one inside flap.
