Old Wind Up Toy Dwarf on Donkey with Box

This vintage wind up is called Dwarf Rider. The little man is dressed in Christmas colors and looks like one of Santa's elves riding a donkey. His head is vinyl and his body is tin. The donkey is fabric over tin with a fur tail. When wound by the attached key the donkey hops around. There is a paper label which says: Made in Japan on the belly of the donkey. It comes with its original colorful box which is in fairly good condition. There is a 1" tear on the front of the box under the Dwarf's left arm. It says it's a Frankonia Toy- Made in Japan and has a logo that looks like a mountain with two M's.

The wind-up mechanism works well and the toy is in very good condition. It measures about 5 3/4" high and 5" long.
