Old Sterling Silver Souvenir Spoon - Pottery Works
This vintage sterling spoon is a souvenir reading; Pottery Works - Lincoln, Cal. This may be the original Gladding McBean & Company which was based in Lincoln in Placer County. The inside of the bowl has an etched scene of the large building that was apparently the pottery factory. The front of the handle has a decorative edge with a "CHL" monogram. The back of the handle also has a decorative pattern and is marked; Sterling - No-55 and has a single, stylized "S" which I have not identified.
It measures about 5 1/4" long and is in good condition with minimal wear.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
