Wooden Windsurfer Souvenir from Hawaii
This wood carving has a lot of personality. I believe the figure on the windsurfer would be considered a tiki or Hawaiian god. He has an almost scarey face and his wild hair and loincloth are made of a jute like fiber. The sail on the board has a crude design and reads; Hawaii. I don't know what the wood is and there are no labels or other identifying marks.
It measures about 9 ¼" high and the board measures about 7 3/8" by 2 1/8". It's in good condition with no noticeable damage.
