Old United Airlines Jr. Stewardess Wings on Original Card

This is from a time when airlines made you feel like you were special, they even gave you gifts for flying with them. This is a pair of Jr Stewardess wings on a card that reads; Every United stewardess wears her silver wings....as a "Junior Stewardess" you should wear wings, too. Please accept this pin with our compliments. It is "signed" by the then President of United Air Lines, G.E. Keck. The wings are actually made of metal and not plastic with a simple c-closure pin on the back. I believe these would date between 1963 and 1970 when Keck was president of the company.

The wings measures about 2" wide and 1/2" high and are in very good condition with minimal to no wear. The card measures about 2 ¼" by 3" and shows minimal crease and edge wear.
