Old Dumbo Disney Figurine by American Pottery

This adorable old figure of Dumbo looks like a baby wearing a scalloped yellow bonnet. The colors are vivid with his pink ears and dark grey body. Made for Walt Disney Productions by American Pottery Company in the 1940's it is marked faintly on the bottom. It appears to read; DUMBO Disney Copyright 1941.

It stands about 5 1/4" to the top of the bonnet and is about 6" across the ears. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs BUT it does have a glaze flaw which can best be seen on the front of Dumbo's left ear. There is a ridge in several places where it appears that a layer of glaze is coming off. It still retains gloss below the layer which has come off. I have tried to show an area in the close-up photo. It has been priced accordingly and is being sold as is.
