Old Indian Papoose Souvenir Mailer

This little papoose is a vintage souvenir mailer. The Indian baby is wrapped in a flannel plaid blanket and tied to the plastic cradleboard with a ribbon. Attached by a string at the top is an old mailing card so it could be mailed just like a postcard. One side is for the stamp and address and the other side has a short poem with a line drawing of a papoose. It also reads; Made in Hong Kong.

The cradleboard measures about 4" long by 2 1/8" at the widest and is in good condition. The mailing label measures about 3 3/4" by 1 7/8" and is in fair condition with crease and wrinkle wear and light soiling.
