Old Restaurant China Creamer with White Floral Design
This little cream pitcher is piece of old restaurant china. The white china has a large petaled white flower on a stem with two flower buds and two large leaves. The same image is on the opposing side with a thin brown line connecting the two. The top edge has a short dash line in dark green. This is similar to several patterns that were used for a couple of railroads as their dining car china but I have not yet been able to specifically identify the pattern or the maker. The bottom is marked only with a number 33, but I would assume it was from a company like Syracuse, Buffalo or Shenango.
It measures about 2" high and about 1 7/8" in diameter at the bottom, tapering slightly to 1 5/8" across the top, not at the spout. It is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage. There is a slight amount of faint staining.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
