Old Poetry Book- In Friendship's Garden, Wilbur D. Nesbit
This small hardbound book is titled In Friendship's Garden, Nine of the Friendliest Poems of Wilbur D. Nesbit. In the fifty some pages there are short and simple poems of friendship and inspiration like The Value of a Smile and Let's Have Our Heaven Here. It has a 1924 copyright by the publisher The P.F.Volland Company of Joliet, Illinois. No dust jacket.
It measures about 5 5/8" by 6 5/8" and is in nice condition with some signs of its age. The paper covered hard cover shows edge and corner wear. The pages are clean and unmarked but the spine is weakening and the reinforcement edge on the inside cover has torn at the top which I have tried to show in the close-up photo.
