Celluloid Figural Thimble Holder/Sewing Kit, Oriental Woman

This is an old celluloid sewing kit in the shape of an Oriental woman. The woman has her hair adorned and is wearing traditional Oriental costume with her hands crossed in front of her. This is not a full figure as it goes to just below waist. The top portion lifts off to reveal a few sewing accoutrements. There is a pink celluloid tube with a cap and 4 celluloid discs dividing the space. There would have been thread of different colors wrapped around the tube and inside there would have been sewing needles. There is also a metal thimble inside. This is not marked with a country of origin but was probably made in Germany.

The celluloid is in good condition with minor wear to the paint. It stands about 2 3/4" tall.
