Old Park Avenue Seamed Nylon Stockings, 2 Pair, Different Colors

This Park Avenue box contains two pairs of old nylon stockings. They are marked across the top; Park Avenue - Irregulars - Knit of Nylon - 54 Gauge. One is 15 Denier and the other is 20 Denier, which indicates the fineness of the hosiery. The toe and heel, high up the back of the ankle, are reinforced and a seam runs up the back. There are two different colored stockings, one is a blackish brown and the other is a reddish brown. The end of the box states that these were Dusk - 9 ½, presumably the size, but obviously at least one pair is not original to the box.

The dark pair measures about 31 ½" in length from heel to top edge and the other pair is longer measuring about 33". They both measures about 9" from heel to toe and appear to be in good, original, unworn condition. The box measures about 7" by 10" and is in fair condition with edge wear and tears. The measurements are offered as a courtesy and are not guaranteed for size so they cannot be returned once they have been tried on.
