Old Spoon Rest with Black Chef Nodder Head - Vintage

This colorful black chef is an old combination spoon rest and nodder. The chef's head is attached to the reclined body by a spring. When touched his head bobs about. His lap is the spoon rest and in one hand is painted a large yellow spoon. The bottom has the marks of Geo. Lefton and part of a red paper label still remains although only enough to make out the name Lefton if you're looking for it. The colors are bright and striking. I believe this is from the 1950's.

It measures about 3 7/8" tall and about 5 1/2" long and 3 1/4" wide and it is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
