Electric Clock With Metal Lattice
This old clock is typical of the style you'd have seen in the 1950's right next to the flamingo lamp on the T.V. set. The clock face is mounted in a brass plated or gold tone geometric metal frame. The ends are formed into circles giving it dimension and it sits on four wood ball feet. It has a convex glass over the face which has Roman numerals. At the bottom of the face it reads; Clock Movement by Lanshire - Chicago, Ill. U.S.A. On the back is the knob setting the clock. It has patent information which I believe dates it to about 1948 and also has a foiled paper label that reads; Manufactured by Bilt-Rite Mfg. Co. of Chicago. It appears to have its original cord.
Overall it measures about 6 7/8" high and 10 1/8" wide. It is in good, working condition with minimal wear. It seems to keep fairly good time. The metal has some minor discoloration and there are some specks of dirt on the inside of the glass.
It works as stated but is being sold as-is with no guarantees.
