Vintage (Circa 20's) Evans powder (or rouge) compact ~ features a glossy-black enameled background, with a pretty pink Guilloche rose, within a oval cartouche.

Opens with a hinged-compartment for powder or rouge (empty faint powder residue) ~ with snap closure on lid.
Measures 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" and signed with the Evans trademark/logo (and the work "Evans" incised beneath) on the interior hammered-brass powder compartment-door. (all black enameling and Guilloche intact (with a small, faint rub on the brass-finish on reverse, that cannot be seen when displayed, commiserate with age).
