English Watercolor 1843

A naïve 1843 English watercolor of a `Tiger' by John Stocking. The outside of this frame measures 7 1/2 inches by 4 3/8 inches; the inside of the frame 5 1/8" inches by 2 1/2 inches.

This is one of two folk art watercolor paints that I am selling at this time. This is a charming watercolor that was saved for the past 169 years and would fit nicely into a collection of Folk, Primitive or Naïve art.
