1878 English Mother-of-Pearl/Sterling Silver Calling Card Case
A beautiful English Victorian dated Mother Of Pearl calling/visiting card case. The center of the front of this beautiful case has a silver frame outlining the center engraved flowers and inscription of M M from John's 1878.
This elegant type of calling card case was one carried that made a lovely case when presenting your card. The lovely geometric diamond pattern is on each side with the added grand diamond design in Sterling Silver encompassing the added design. The case is 4" long, 3" wide and is 3/4" deep. This case does hold today's business cards.
Condition: very good with the mother of pearl having a beautiful lustrous sheen.
