Set of Five English Victorian Copper Cooking Pans

A set of five English Copper pans. Each of the pans is in wonderful condition. Each pot has handmade hammered iron handles that are attacked to the pans with the original copper rivets. Each of the pans is lead lined and is in very good condition. Pan #1 4 1/8" across , 2 1/8" deep: very good condition; handle 4 1/2" from pan rim. Pan #2 4 3/4" across, 2 1/2" deep: very good condition: handle 5 1/4" from pan rim. Pan #3 5 1/2" across, 2 3/4" deep: nice condition: handle 6" from pan rim. Pan #4 6 1/4" across, 3 1/4" deep: nice condition with one dent on bottom rim: handle 7" from pan rim. Pan #5 6 1/4" across, 3 1/2"deep: nice condition with user marks along the outside rim of the pan: handle 6 1/2" from pan rim.

These pan were made during the Victorian era and would have been part of the `cooks' pans. (sets of the copper pans are now being seen in the Downton Abbey series and other English series where we are privy to the below' the stairs work) Each could be used, were bought together. The last one is the only one marked in the set with the impressed letter `L' and there are two other marks near the handle that I have not been able to decipher.

This set of copper ware was bought in England and display beautifully.
