Victorian English Burr Mahogany Double Tea Chest Silver Plate Top Handle
The tea chest has two lidded caddies, and a central glass mixing bowl used for sugar or blending the teas together. This English Victorian tea chest has a silver plated tea caddy spoon that you can see in the photos. The key key escutcheon is made of brass.
The tea chest measures 12" wide; 6" deep; and 6" high.
This is a beautiful, and fully fitted English Victorian tea chest. The burr mahogany wood is in wonderful condition on the exterior, and the lighter mahogany used on the inside is in very good condition as well. The glass bowl is a period piece and along tea caddy spoon may not be original to the tea chest. This is a charming English tea caddy that has been well cared for.
