Circa 1900. Large unique covered punch bowl. I have never seen anything quite like this Late Victorian punch bowl. The bowl itself is a round, blown out shape fashioned in a textured, frosted glass. The base and lid are heavy cast brass with very fined incised designs. The three scroll legs are also an ornate heavy cast brass. The large finial is in the form of a winged cherub holding a ball on it's head. The finial is silver, probably silver-plate. The set has what I believe to be it's original large, fancy brass ladle. The entire set is in very good "as found" condition with no monograms, dents or losses, and the deep patina on the brass is accurately pictured in our photos. 23 3/4" tall x 12" widest. Price $895.00 .
