Circa 1900. Tall, fine, Louis XV style, vitrine, in mahogany and ormolu with three 18th century style, painted scenes. This unusual antique French style curio cabinet is estate fresh and in exceptional original condition. All the ormolu and bronze mounts, three pieces of original curved glass and highly figured mahogany wood are present and in fine condition. As an extra bonus this beautiful china cabinet has three original oil paintings on its bottom section, all charmingly painted in an 18th c French taste. The interior is lined in a deep red brocade that is also in excellent condition. This exceptional piece of French furniture has both elegant styling and graceful proportions, being taller than usual for this type of cabinet. This lovely cabinet features a large, single, curved center door with the original working lock and key. The legs are slightly curved with an acanthus leaf detail, which also runs up the curved extended knees of the cabinet.
