Original Drawing - Gladys Emerson Cook (1899 - 1976) - "Pekingese Head Study"

Gladys Emerson Cook was a well-known and much loved artist whose renditions of pets captured the hearts of so many.

This is a wonderful Charcoal Drawing of a Pekingese. I think she captured the regal nature and intelligent glimmer in its eyes. While it is not my breed, I have been around several owned by friends and really like the breed.

Size: Oval 10 x 12 inches. Framed 20 and 1/2 inches by 17 and 3/4 inches.

Condition: Good to Very Good. No losses or damage.

Circa: Third Quarter of the 20th Century.
