Lovely Princess With "Jeweled" (Faux) Crown, From Austria, By Pinkera
This sweet princess is part of the estate I have handled for an old friend. Most of it is gone, but we still have some still to list. The estate was of my friend's parents, who travelled extensively. As a good daughter who was involved in her parents' lives always, she has been able to fill me in on when each piece was purchased. She remembers this particular piece was from one of her parents' trips that included a romantic cruise on the Danube. She said her father bought it for her mother, because he said she was his princess. The label from the shop that this was purchased is "Anzengruber Keramik - Wien (Vienna)", and is still affixed to the bottom. Maker's mark, Pinkera, is clear.
Size: 8 and 3/4 inches tall.
Condition: Very Good. No Losses.
Circa: 1980.
