EXTREMELY RARE Antique Royal Worcester Vase, Diamond Mark, November, 1883

This extremely rare antique English vase by Royal Worcester is of bottle form with Japanese-style gilt dragon wrapping itself around the vase in high relief, with mouth agape showing fangs. Signed.

Circa late 19th Century. The diamond-shaped mark indicates registration date as November 1883.

Size: Height 14 1/4 inches.

Condition: No Losses. Very Good to Excellent.

The wonderful condition and the rarity of this piece should attract the most discriminating buyers.

The Worcester works produced extremely finely crafted ceramics wares for centuries. The firm was founded in Stoke on Trent in 1751 and employed world famous artists such as james Hadley and Christopher Dresser. The company became part of the Spode family in 1971 and sadly stopped production in 2009.

The most important tip is to only ever wash this in tepid water and by hand. Avoid exposing it to sudden or severe temperature changes.
