Chinese Glass Vintage Rhyton Cup With Unusual Colorations, With Carved Wood Stand
This glass rhyton cup is quite striking with its unusual colorations of different shades of green and brown. It is a very effective piece on the table with an Oriental motif, perhaps with one or two small blossoms in the cup. Or perhaps for a condiment. Or on a side table with some small wrapped mints or candies.
The head of the gazelle or antelope with spiral horns is rather unusual. All told a piece that I find suits my eclectic taste.
Size: 6 inches across. Height 2 and 1/2 inches (without stand). The stand is 5 inches across and 1 inch tall.
Condition: Both pieces Excellent. (There is an old label on each of them. Not marked.
Circa: 1970s.
