There is some dispute as to who this figure depicts. In the information I received when I purchased the collection, there was a notation in the appraisal that this figure is the young version of one of the Immortals, Li Tieh Kuai. However, in my independent research I was not able to find details of what the young Li Tieh Kuai looked like, only those of him when he was older.

This is glazed in the Sancai tradition of Mustard Yellow, Cerulean Blue, and Jade Green.

Size: 4 and 1/2 inches tall.

Circa: 1930.

Much less than the usual base rubs. The overall condition is better than what you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.

This is part of the fabulous collection of 144 vintage and antique mudmen I have just purchased, that had been lovingly collected over many decades. I purchased all 144 pieces, all in Very Good to Excellent Condition. I will be listing all of them, and of course will consider a reduced price if one were to purchase all or a large number of them. I am listing them at very affordable prices individually as well.
