VERY RARE Chinese Mudman With Lotus Flower (Symbol of Summer and Fruitfulness) Circa 1930

This theme is highly unusual in mudmen. The seated figure in glazed in Blue and holds a Lotus Flower, which symbolizes Summer and Fruitfulness.

He is 5 and 1/4 inches tall.

Circa 1930

Condition is Very Good. No cracks, breaks or losses. Some loss of glaze on the rock on which he sits (in back) and very slight rubs on the base.

The overall condition is much better than you would expect from an object of substantial age that has been displayed/handled/used, usually over the lifetimes of several owners.

This is part of the fabulous collection of 144 vintage and antique mudmen I have just purchased, that had been lovingly collected over many decades. I purchased all 144 pieces, all in Very Good to Excellent Condition. I will be listing all of them, and of course will consider a reduced price if one were to purchase all or a large number of them. I am listing them at very affordable prices individually as well
